Day 5: Denali National Park Tour

We rode for 8 hours in the oldest bus at the park. We don't think it had any suspension springs as it was a harsh, bumpy ride.

I created a web gallery for the pictures from the entire trip which I'll update with new pictures when possible: Alaska 2009
Day 6: Denali to Fairbanks

Another ride on a bus, ugh! Albeit a very nice bus - they call it a motorcoach. It was a 2.5 hour ride from Denali to Fairbanks. Then we took a ride on a stern-wheel boat and toured a model Athabascan fishing camp. We also saw a dog sled demonstration put on by the husband and daughter of Susan Butcher, who holds the record for the most Iditarod Dog Sled Race wins. I'll add some pictures to the web gallery in a day or two.
